Arlasia
The scenery is usually snowy, surrounded by mountains, and known for their mining trade. They're ruled over by a monarch who takes the title of King or Queen, but there is a civilian council that advises them and takes part in major decisions. Should there be a disagreement between the monarchy and the council, said council can overrule the reigning monarch with a unanimous vote. Therefore it is such the case that the monarchy will create political ties with council members to keep their interests inline. Overullings have only happened twice in history and each time has led to economic disasters. Currently, this kingdom is run by a dying King with his daughter ready to take the throne. The A'dulain royal family has been in power since the beginning.
